Description
Reimagined and modified by legendary amplifier designer Mark Sampson, this 30-watt all-tube combo brings together boutique craftsmanship, classic inspiration and a remarkably refined tonal response. Its completely redesigned tone stack and power section deliver an exceptionally dynamic and harmonically rich sound, with the touch sensitivity and three-dimensional character that make a great Class AB valve amplifier so rewarding to play.
The two-channel design features dedicated VOLUME and MASTER controls for each channel, allowing the amplifier to move effortlessly from open, articulate clean tones to richer and more saturated textures. A dedicated CUT control provides precise attenuation of the upper frequencies, making it easy to tailor the amplifier to different guitars, rooms and playing styles. Bias-modulated tremolo adds a beautifully organic, vintage-style pulse, while the studio-grade reverb creates depth and ambience without sacrificing clarity.
The valve complement consists of two 12AX7 preamp tubes, a 12AX7 phase inverter and four cathode-biased EL84 power tubes. This classic configuration gives the amplifier its immediate response, natural compression and harmonically complex character when pushed. A buffered effects loop also makes it an excellent platform for delay, modulation and other time-based effects while preserving the integrity of the original signal.
Its Baltic birch open-back cabinet houses a custom 12-inch, UK-made Celestion speaker rated at 60 watts and 8 ohms, carefully matched to deliver excellent projection, balance and definition. Crafted in the Mod Shop and designed and built in Costa Mesa, California, this is an amplifier for players who want more than volume alone: it responds to the smallest nuances of the hands and becomes a genuine extension of the guitar itself.
A two-button footswitch for Channel 1/2 selection and Tremolo on/off is included, together with a custom-fitted protective cover. An outstanding boutique tube amplifier for players and collectors looking for exceptional tone and craftsmanship in Italy and throughout Europe, available from Guitar Sauce.
