Description
Charvel Legacy 3 Relic Bloodsplatter Red and Black 2008 Used. A guitar that tells a fundamental story of the modern electric guitar. After purchasing the company from Wayne Charvel, Grover Jackson transformed the brand into one of the absolute references for ’80s hard rock and shred, helping to redefine the very concept of the superstrat. It’s no coincidence that Charvels have been embraced by some of the greatest guitar heroes of all time, becoming iconic instruments for an entire generation of musicians.
The Legacy series was created precisely to celebrate that unique era and pay homage to the guitars that shaped the history of modern rock. This example is particularly special because it belongs to the Relic series, crafted directly by Grover Jackson together with some historic members of the old Charvel factory, names who in later years would become key figures in the Fender and Gretsch Custom Shop, including Mike Eldred, Todd Krause, Stephen Stern, and Mike Shannon.
This Red and Black Shmear is one of the extremely rare versions created in collaboration with the renowned American store Music Zoo. The spectacular Bloodsplatter graphic, Floyd Rose fretboard, and lightning-fast neck perfectly embody the spirit of the great Charvels of the golden era, combining true shred-machine performance with an unmistakable aesthetic.
Making this instrument even more exclusive is Wayne Charvel’s signature on the back of the headstock, a detail that further enhances its historical and collectible value. The guitar comes with its original certificate of authenticity and will also include a photograph documenting Wayne Charvel’s signature.
One of the most fascinating, rare, and fun guitars we’ve ever seen and played, a true tribute to a period that changed the world of electric guitars forever.
