Description
Charvel Legacy 3 Relic Yellow and Black 2008. A guitar that tells a fundamental story of the modern electric guitar. After purchasing the company from Wayne Charvel, Grover Jackson transformed the brand into one of the absolute references for ’80s hard rock and shred, helping to redefine the very concept of the superstrat. It’s no coincidence that Charvels have been embraced by some of the greatest guitar heroes of all time, becoming iconic instruments for an entire generation of musicians.
The Legacy series was created precisely to celebrate that unique era and pay homage to the guitars that shaped the history of modern rock. This model is part of the Relic series, crafted directly by Grover Jackson along with several historic members of the old Charvel factory, names who in later years would become key figures in the Fender and Gretsch Custom Shop, including Mike Eldred, Todd Krause, Stephen Stern, and Mike Shannon.
This Yellow and Black perfectly embodies the spirit of the great Charvels of the golden era. The spectacular graphics, Floyd Rose pickups, and lightning-fast neck embody everything that made the brand famous, combining true shred-machine performance with an aggressive, unmistakable aesthetic.
Produced in an extremely limited production run and crafted by some of the most important figures in modern American guitar making, this Legacy 3 offers all the charm of the original Charvels from the ’80s with exceptional build quality and meticulous attention to detail.
Completed with its original certificate of authenticity, it is one of the most accomplished reinterpretations ever dedicated to the legacy of Grover Jackson and Wayne Charvel. A rare, captivating, and incredibly fun guitar to play, it instantly transports you back to the golden age of shredders and Superstrats that changed the world of electric guitars forever.
