Description
The Fender Custom Shop Limited 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Candy Yellow Over 2 Color Sunburst 2025 celebrates one of the most iconic instruments ever produced, reinterpreting the essence of the very first Stratocaster with all the care and obsessive attention to detail of the modern Fender Custom Shop. The ash body with Heavy Relic nitro lacquer finish reveals the aged charm of an instrument that appears to have endured decades of stage time, while the spectacular Candy Yellow Over 2 Color Sunburst provides a rare and instantly recognizable aesthetic depth.
The maple neck with a 70th Anniversary profile recalls the feel of the original 1954 Stratocasters, offering a full and authentic feel under the fingers. The 7.25″ to 9.50″ compound radius combines vintage comfort with a more modern playability, while the 21 Narrow Tall / 6105 frets allow for smooth bending and great precision.
The electronics feature three Handwound ’54 Stratocaster Relic pickups, designed to deliver all the brilliance, twang, and dynamics of the very first Strats: defined lows, open mids, and crystal-clear highs that make every note lively and articulate. The 5-way selector switch further expands versatility while preserving the instrument’s vintage character.
The setup is completed by the Custom Shop Vintage Stratocaster Relic bridge, vintage tuning machines with Fender logo, and all the original accessories, including the original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity, Shop Floor Traveler, tags, and cable. Weighing 3.545 kg, this Limited 70th Anniversary model is an exclusive celebration of the 1954 Stratocaster, designed for collectors and musicians seeking a Custom Shop instrument with a powerfully evocative character and authentic Fender sound.
