Its ash body delivers the lively resonance, clarity and dynamic response that made the original 1954 Stratocaster legendary, while the Soft V maple neck faithfully recreates the unmistakable feel of the earliest examples. The compound 7.25″-9.5″ maple fingerboard preserves the vintage playing experience for chords while allowing smoother bends and effortless lead work. Equipped with a set of Hand-Wound ’54 single-coils, this guitar produces the sparkling highs, woody midrange and outstanding touch sensitivity that define a true early Strat. The vintage-style tremolo completes this classic specification, while the Journeyman relic finish gives the instrument the look and feel of a naturally aged original.
