Description
The 1996 Fender Prosonic Amp Red Head is a US-made tube amp head with a bold character—decidedly more aggressive than the classic Fender sound. Designed in the 1990s under the guidance of Bruce Zinky, it offers two channels and remarkable versatility, ranging from full, dynamic cleans to rich, high-sustain distortion.
It delivers up to 60 watts of power, featuring various output stage modes that allow you to adjust its response and headroom. This particular unit stands out thanks to its distinctive Red Tolex covering and the 1996 “50 Years of Excellence” Fender badge on the back.
A rare Fender head, ideal for anyone seeking an American tube amp capable of going far beyond the brand’s traditional clean tones.
