Description
The 1995 Matchless DC30 represents one of the most iconic amplifiers in American boutique production, built at the height of the famous “Mark Sampson Era,” a period now considered the brand’s true pinnacle of quality. Entirely handcrafted with point-to-point construction, this DC30 perfectly embodies the Matchless philosophy: meticulous attention to detail, select components, and a dynamic response that redefined the concept of a tube amplifier in the 1990s.
Being a 1995 model means being part of Matchless’s golden age, when Mark Sampson was still directly involved in design and production. This detail is not only historical, but also has a tangible impact on the instrument’s value: amplifiers from this era are today among the most sought-after by professionals and collectors for their impeccable construction and a sonic character that many consider unique.
An amplifier that is more than just an instrument, but a true benchmark in the boutique world, capable of delivering an authoritative, dynamic, and profoundly musical sound. Perfect for those looking for true Matchless DNA, the original one, built when it all began.
