Description
Maybach X-Wing 76 Korina Vintage Honey Aged 2026, a guitar that takes one of the most iconic shapes in rock history and reinterprets it through Maybach’s distinctive approach to vintage-inspired instrument building.
Both the body and neck are made entirely from Korina, a tonewood historically associated with some of the most desirable American solid-body guitars of the late 1950s. Its combination of resonance, warmth and clarity gives the X-Wing a lively and expressive acoustic response even before it is plugged in. The Vintage Honey Aged finish beautifully highlights the grain while giving the guitar the authentic appearance of a well-loved vintage instrument.
The ’60s Slim Taper neck profile provides a fast and comfortable feel, while the rosewood fingerboard, 12” radius, 22 Medium Jumbo frets and bone nut create an excellent platform for effortless bends and expressive lead playing.
A pair of Amber Spirit of 59 Supernova humbuckers provides the voice of the instrument. They retain the openness, dynamics and harmonic detail associated with vintage-style humbuckers while offering enough strength and presence for powerful rock tones. The neck pickup is warm, full and articulate, while the bridge position delivers definition, bite and rich harmonics as the amplifier begins to break up.
Gold hardware, a Gotoh bridge and vintage Kluson-style tuners complete its unmistakable appearance. At 4.070 kg, the guitar feels substantial and authoritative while retaining the natural resonance that makes Korina instruments so distinctive.
A visually striking guitar with much more to offer than its shape alone: vintage-inspired in feel and response, powerful when pushed and unmistakably built for rock ’n’ roll.
