Description
The Pete Cornish NG-3 Battery Free is a highly refined fuzz/overdrive that embodies the entire Cornish sonic philosophy, combining incredibly musical dynamic response with impeccable construction. This Battery Free version eliminates the internal battery, ensuring greater power stability and seamless integration into modern pedalboards while maintaining the integrity of the original circuit.
At the heart of the NG-3 is a circuit designed to deliver rich, three-dimensional, and highly controllable saturation, capable of ranging from warm and articulate overdrive to more complex and aggressive fuzz territory. The Bias control plays a key role in shaping the pedal’s response, allowing you to adjust the saturation structure and compression, making every nuance extremely responsive to the player’s touch.
The Tone, Sustain, Drive, and Volume controls work in perfect synergy, offering a wide sonic range. Tone allows you to precisely sculpt frequencies, while Sustain defines the length and density of the note. The Drive adjusts the intensity of the distortion, always maintaining astonishing definition, and the Volume provides enough headroom to push amplifiers and effects chains with authority.
Like every Pete Cornish pedal, the NG-3 is completely handwired, with a high-quality input buffer to preserve the signal and reduce interference. The sturdy construction, select components, and artisanal assembly ensure silence, reliability, and a top-notch sound. This pedal is designed for those seeking character, control, and a lively response under their fingers.
