Description
The PRS Modern Eagle III 25th Anniversary Amber from 2010 is one of the most refined expressions of the Modern Eagle concept, built to celebrate 25 years of Paul Reed Smith excellence. Its premium flamed maple top in Amber finish showcases a stunning depth and dimensionality, perfectly paired with a mahogany body and a satin rosewood neck that delivers warmth, sustain, and a luxurious playing feel. The rosewood fingerboard, adorned with PRS’ iconic bird inlays, adds to the unmistakable character of this instrument.
The defining feature of the Modern Eagle III is its triple Narrowfield humbucker configuration. Designed by PRS, these pickups combine the clarity and sparkle of a single coil with the punch and noiseless performance of a humbucker, providing an incredibly versatile tonal palette. The 5-way switch unlocks a wide variety of tonal combinations, ranging from pristine cleans to articulate, full-bodied drive.
The PRS stoptail bridge ensures tuning stability and resonance transfer, while Phase II locking tuners complete the build with precision and reliability. With a weight of 3.475 kg, the guitar feels perfectly balanced and comfortable.
This instrument remains in excellent overall condition, showing only minor surface marks on the body that do not affect playability or aesthetics. It comes complete with its original hard case and PRS paperwork, making it a superb choice for both players and collectors seeking a truly versatile and collectible instrument.
