The vintage 1960’s Fuzz Face is one of the most iconic fuzz pedals ever produced. Our new Special Fuzz 2 is an authentic tribute to the original 1968 model featuring NOS Telefunken/Siemens gold lead, matched BC109 silicon transistors, carbon composition resistors and audio grade capacitors.
SOUNDThe Special Fuzz 2 nails the original sound of the late 60’s BC109 fuzz circuit. We have also engineered the Special Fuzz 2 to be as quiet as possible with little or no RF when your guitar volume is set to zero. This is a rarity for this style of fuzz. The Special Fuzz 2 cleans up amazingly well when you dial down the volume on your guitar.
OPERATIONThe unit is controlled by Volume and Fuzz knobs located on the back of the unit. The Special Fuzz 2 bottom plate features two thumb screws giving the user easy access to the nine volt battery. A 9 VDC power jack for external power is located on the right side of the unit.
