Turnip Greens is a compact multi-effects pedal that combines the award-winning Soul Food Overdrive and Holy Grail Max Reverb. Soul Food produces transparent sounds starting with a clean boost and progressing to intense overdrive. It’s equally adept at adding edge to the player’s tone, pushing an amp into overdrive. Holy Grail Max offers four carefully crafted reverbs: Spring, Hall, Plate and Reverse. A newly developed analog wet/dry control produces a constant volume curve when the Blend knob is rotated from fully dry to fully wet, while also maintaining the analog dry signal through the pedal. The left side of the pedal features the Holy Grail Max controls and independent footswitch while the right side is dedicated to the Soul Food controls and pedal. An effects order on/off switch, located in the middle, selects whether overdrive or reverb is first in the effects chain. The Send and Return jacks allow you to insert effects into the signal path between the two. The reverb is now boosted by overdrive which, when used in conjunction with pedals in the effects loop, can create very lush textures.
