Description
The 1960 Fender Deluxe “Narrow Panel” Tweed is one of the most iconic vintage amplifiers of all time, considered by many to be the true Holy Grail of Deluxe models. This particular unit retains its original speaker, transformers, and circuitry—a combination that is increasingly hard to find today, especially in such pristine condition and with this level of sonic performance.
The lacquered Tweed finish displays a stunning natural patina, while the “JE” code identifies it as a May 1960 build, belonging to the model’s 47th production run.
The original power cord is included, though for safety reasons, it has been replaced with a modern grounded cable. The original handle is also present, albeit worn and broken near one of the mounting eyelets.
This is an authentic, complete Deluxe that remains a joy to play today—perfect for both the collector and the player seeking that genuine Tweed sound: warm, dynamic, and incredibly musical.
