Description
The Jam Pedals Boomster is a handcrafted clean booster designed to deliver a highly transparent volume increase, a high-quality buffer, and the flexibility to operate as a volume pedal when paired with an external expression pedal. Its circuitry is built around carefully selected components, ensuring that the instrument’s natural character remains intact while providing additional headroom and clarity. The gain control behaves smoothly and musically, making the Boomster suitable both for players who need a clean and stable boost for solos and for those looking to enhance the presence of guitars with lower output. The pedal offers three internal voicing options, ranging from a perfectly flat and neutral response to subtle tonal shifts that slightly roll off the highs or accentuate the midrange. Its switchable buffer helps preserve brightness in long or complex signal chains, maintaining tonal consistency even in demanding setups. When used with the appropriate expression pedal, the Boomster becomes a precise and transparent volume controller, allowing smooth swells without coloration. Its ability to run at voltages between 9 and 18 volts provides different levels of headroom and dynamic response, with higher voltages delivering a wider and more open sound. Entirely handmade in Greece, the Boomster embodies the boutique philosophy of Jam Pedals and stands as a versatile, reliable and sonically transparent tool for any guitarist.
