Description
The Suhr Badger 18 is an 18-watt tube head that delivers the full American boutique philosophy in a compact format: dynamics, clarity and highly musical overdrive. Its circuit is designed to provide a rich, three-dimensional tone, with Power, Drive, Bass, Middle, Treble and Gain controls allowing precise tonal shaping. The built-in Power Scaling feature lets you push the output tubes at lower volumes while preserving the amp’s natural compression and harmonic character.
The dedicated boost, switchable via footswitch, adds extra punch and presence for solos without compromising overall balance. The rear-panel effects loop enhances flexibility, making it equally suited for studio sessions and live performance. Paired with the Suhr 2×12 cabinet, the sound becomes wide and authoritative, with tight lows, focused mids and clear yet smooth highs. This is a professional rig capable of moving seamlessly from warm, articulate cleans to dynamic crunch and full-bodied overdrive.
