Description
The Wampler Cory Wong Compressor is much more than a simple compressor: it’s a true dynamics control center, designed with Cory Wong to achieve the clean, defined, and incredibly percussive sound that distinguishes it. The compression is precise and transparent, capable of smoothing the signal without ever suppressing the attack, allowing every detail of your playing to emerge with astonishing clarity.
Alongside the compression section is a perfectly integrated boost, ideal for adding more presence to the mix or pushing the amp while maintaining balance and definition. The presence of the direct output (DI) adds an additional level of versatility, making this pedal perfect for live and studio settings where an immediate and professional connection is required.
The result is a true modern “toolbox,” designed for guitarists who want total control over dynamics, attack, and headroom, without sacrificing musicality and feel. A pedal that doesn’t just compress, but enhances every nuance of the sound, making it always present, articulate, and perfectly focused.
